Event Details

Join us for the CHA London & South East Regional Meeting on May 8th 2025 at the Mercure Newbury West Grange Hotel.

With representatives from Ofsted and the South East Regional Care Cooperative, this meeting will be the first in a series of events that ensure providers' voices are heard when local authorities consider the future of commissioning in the region. We hope to see as many of you as possible there.

The Children's Homes Association are supporting the South East Regional Care Cooperative pathfinder. The Regional Care Cooperative (RCC) is one of two pilots that have been funded by the DfE, and the result of a recommendation from the Independent Review of Children's Social Care. There is a recent article on the announcements here.

There are significant opportunities for members in the region to increase their provision and improve partnership working. However, regional approaches have potential downsides. Because of this, it is essential that members attend this regional meeting. Lunch and refreshments will be included.

Pre-meeting evening networking - from 7pm on 7th May: You may also wish to join us at the hotel the evening before for dinner and networking. Rooms are available to book at the venue for ยฃ105 (single occupancy) or ยฃ110 (double occupancy). Please quote CHA when booking with the venue.

IMPORTANT: Pre-registration for the meeting is essential and we are limiting spaces to 2 attendees per member organisation, to help ensure as many organisations as possible can be represented. So please do coordinate with your colleagues when registering, and if your plans change and you are no longer able to attend, please let us know so that your space can be offered to others!
